OXFAM INVITATION FOR BIDS ( IFB ) ESTABLISHMENT OF WATER CARRIER LINES
Identification Number : TD 20 / 002 / OPTI - RML Oxfam is a registered International Non - Governmental Organization . It is a member of Oxfam International , an international confederation of 17 organizations working together in 98 countries with partners and other allies around the world . Oxfam focuses its activities on providing a comprehensive response to poverty , working cohesively in the four areas that constitute its identity : development cooperation , humanitarian action , faire trade , social mobilization , campaigns and education for global citizenship . Oxfam in partnership with the Land Research Center ( LRC ) , MA'AN Development Center and Economic & Social Development Center of Palestine ( ESDC ) are aiming to establish 6 km of water carrier lines in Bardala , Marj Na ja , Muntar , and Marah Shajara . The intervention period will be 90 calendar days . This activity is part of the project , ' Livelihood restoration and protection for Area C vulnerable farmers ' funded by opt Humanitarian Fund . Oxfam invites your submission of a scaled bids to provide Oxfam , within their requirements , for the works of " ESTABLISHMENT OF WATER CARRIER LINES " . as per the conditions and requirements detailed in the Bidding Documents . 1. Bidding will be conducted through Open Tender procedures , and is open to all eligible
and qualified bidders as defined in the Bidding Documents . 2. Qualifications requirements include : Valid Commercial and VAT registration , registration
at " Palestinian Contractors Union ( PCU ) " , and a minimum " third " grade classification by the " Palestinian National Committee of contractors ' classification " under the category of
either " Roads " , " Water and Sewage " or " Public Works & Maintenance " 3. Interested eligible bidders may acquire a complete set of Bidding Documents in
English ( on the submission of a valid Classification Certificate ) by sending an email request to the mentioned below email from 23 July 2020 to 2nd August 2020 between
09:00 AM to 03:00 PM , Sundays to Thursdays . 4. Oxfam invites prospective Bidders to attend a Pre - Bidding Meeting which will be held online
using Zoom platform on 28'h July 2020 at 10:00 AM . Please contact the below email address
to obtain the meeting ID and Password . Bidders are encouraged to attend the meeting . 5. If possible , Oxfam invites prospective Bidders to join the site visit which will take
place on 29th July 2020 at 10:00 AM . In case field visit is not possible , it's still the
bidder responsibility to visit the project sites . 6. Sealed Bids must be delivered by hand to the address below at or before 10h August
2020,01 : 00PM . In case of movement forbidden due to COVID - 19 , the bidders will be contacted to send their bids to the below email address Late bids will be rejected . Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders ' representatives who choose to attend at 10 August 2020 at 01:30 PM using Zoom platform . Please contact the below
email address to obtain the meeting ID and Password 7. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security of 5,000.00 USD valid for 120 days
after the bids submission deadline . 8. Oxfam does not bind itself to award the lowest bid and reserves the right to accept the
