Palestinian Territories Real Estate Registration Project Grant No .: P168576 Assignment Title : Project Assistant Reference No .: GZ - PLA - 183485 - CS - INDV The World Bank ( WB ) is working together with the Palestinian Authority ( PA ) to finalize the preparation of a Real Estate Registration Project whose objective is to enhance tenure security and improve real estate registration services . These objectives will be achieved through advancing the systematic registration of properties in Areas A and B of the West Bank , which is currently being undertaken by the Land and Water Settlement Commission ( LWSC ) , in collaboration with Local Government Units . The project will support ongoing systematic approach comprehensively benefits citizens , businesses including small and medium enterprises ( SMEs ) , and public entities through real estate registration and improvement of real estate services . PLA is the implementing agency for this Project . PLA intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to payments under the contract for “ Project Assistant ” . The selected Project Assistant will be required to familiarize him / herself with all administrative aspects of the project , and will be in charge of performing the administrative , secretarial , and logistics support functions to the PMT . A firm will be selected in accordance with the World Bank's Guidelines based on Individual Consultant Selection ( IC ) set out in the Procurement Regulations . The duration of the assignment is one year on a full - time basis , extendable for additional years based on performance for the duration of the project .
