giz E - Governance Programme ( INDIGO ) / GIZ
Request for quotation Procurement of Yellow - Plate Car The " E - Governance in Palestine and the MENA region ( INDIGO ) " , is commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development ( BMZ ) as from January 2020 until April 2024. INDIGO ( the short name of the project stands for Inclusive Digital Governance ) is managed by a GIZ project team based in Ramallah and consists of two bilateral components targeting the Palestinian Territories and one regional component targeting the countries of the MENA region . INDIGO primarily aims to promote citizen - centred , inclusive digital governance and innovative forms of citizen participation in Palestine and the MENA region , with a specific focus on the municipal level .
In the Palestinian context , INDIGO is implemented in close cooperation with the Palestinian Ministry of Local Government ( MoLG ) and aims to improve citizen - centred and inclusive digital services as well as innovative and co - creative forms of citizen participation in municipalities . Here , the target group of the project is the population of the Palestinian Territories who benefit from improved services and participation opportunities provided by municipalities in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip . In the regional context , most countries in the MENA region face comparable challenges when it comes to the digital transformation and innovation of their administrations and the interaction between state and society Against that background , INDIGO will focus on establishing new.co - creative means of networking and knowledge exchange in the MENA region , following two thematic tracks : e - services and innovative ( analogue and digital ) forms of participation .
GIZ is currently seeking qualified locally registered vendors to supply a yellow- Plate car to its office in Ramallah . Qualified suppliers are hereby invited to submit their quotations for the provision of the required items .
