INVITATION TO QUOTATION Action Against Hunger tackles the causes and effects of hunger and diseases that threaten the lives of vulnerable children , women and men . Established in France in 1979 , Action Against Hunger is a nongovernmental , non - political , non - religious , non - profit organiza tion . Action Against Hunger has been working in the Palestinian Territory since 2002 . Action Against Hunger through a fund from the Directorate - General for Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection - ECHO , ( Publication Reference : PI - HB - 01345 ) , would like to invite eligible contractors to submit their price offers for Rehabilitation & construction of community assets for Schools in West Bank , according to the following conditions :
Eligible contractor should be registered with the VAT and customs department and has the ability to provide Zero VAT invoice to Action Against Hunger with their VAT Number registration and financial clearance certificate . Eligible contractor can obtain quotation request documents from Action Against Hunger - Hebron office - Hebron University Street , Bilal Maraqa Building 4th floor starting from Monday , October 19th , 2020 at 12:00 pm ( local time of the Palestinian Territory ) . The last day to distribute quotation requests documents is on Sunday , 1st November 2020 at 12:00 ( local time of the Palestinian Territory ) , Office hours are from 8:00 am until 16:00 pm - Sunday to Thursday . Interested contractors on the aforementioned quotation should provide Action Against Hunger with all requested documents before having the quotation dossier . A clarification meeting and site visit attendance will be considered one of the scor ing criteria stated in the quotation request page No.4 and it will be split into two days , the first one will be in the North of West Bank in Tubas , and it will be held on Tuesday 27th of October 2020 at Action Against Hunger Hebron office , Hebron University Street , Bilal Maraga , 4th floor at 12:00 PM ( local time of the Palestinian Territory , whereas the second one will be will be on Yatta city South of West Bank and in Anata in the central of West Bank on Wednesday 28th of October , 2020 at 9:00 am ( local time of the Palestinian Territory ) Eligible contractors should submit their offers in a sealed envelope no later than Monday 2nd November 2020 at 12:00 am ( local time of the Palestinian Territory ) attached with bank guarantee with a valid for 90 calendar days starting from the date of submission ; personal cheques will not be accepted . Due to the current closure of Hebron governorate following the spread of Corona virus , there will be no public quotation opening session following Palestinian Min istry of Health instructions to maintain your health and safety . If any change on date of offers submission and on the way of submission , we will contact all contractors on this regard Action Against Hunger is not obliged to accept the lowest price . Action Against Hunger has the right to postpone , cancel , extend or split the quota tion request and to award the lots to different contractors . Preparation and newspaper announcement fees will be paid by the quotation win ner . The prices excluding VAT and the contractor should issue Zero VAT invoice .
