INVITATION TO QUOTATION Action Against Hunger tackles the causes and effects of hunger and diseases that threaten the lives of vulnerable children , women and men . Established in France in
1979 , Action Against Hunger is a nongovernmental , non - political , non - religious , non - profit organization . Action Against Hunger has been working in the Palestinian Territory since 2002. Action Against Hunger through a fund from the Directorate General for Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection - ECHO , ( Publication Reference : PI - HB - 01355 ) , would like to invite eligible contractors to submit their price offers for supply and installation of water pumps in Hebron governorate , according to the following conditions : Eligible contractor should be registered with the VAT and customs department and has the ability to provide Zero VAT invoice to Action Against Hunger with their VAT Number registration and financial clearance certificate .
Eligible contractor can obtain quotation request documents from Action Against Hunger - Hebron office - Hebron University Street , Bilal Maraqa Building 4th floor starting from Monday , November 2nd , 2020 at 12:00 pm ( local time of the Pal estinian Territory ) . The last day to distribute quotation requests documents is on Monday , 9th November 2020 at 12:00 ( local time of the Palestinian Territory ) , Office hours are from 8:00 am until 16:00 pm - Sunday to Thursday . Interested contractors on the aforementioned quotation should provide Action Against Hunger with all requested documents before having the quotation dos sier . A clarification meeting and site visit attendance will be considered one of the scor ing criteria stated in the quotation request page No.4 Clarification meeting and site visit will be held at Action Against Hunger office , which is located at Hebron Uni versity Street , Bilal Maraqa Building 4th floor on Sunday , November 08th 2020 at 09:30 am ( local time of the Palestinian Territory ) Eligible contractors should submit their offers in a sealed envelope no later than Tuesday 10th November 2020 at 12:00 am ( local time of the Palestinian Territory ) with a total of 5 % of their offers attached as bank guarantee valid for 90 calendar days starting from the date of submission ; personal cheques will not be accepted . Due to the current closure of Hebron governorate following the spread of Coro na - virus , there will be no public quotation opening session following Palestinian Ministry of Health instructions to maintain your health and safety . If any change on date of offers submission and on the way of submission , we will contact all contractors on this regard . Action Against Hunger is not obliged to accept the lowest price . Action Against Hunger has the right to postpone , cancel , extend or split the quota tion request and to award the lots to different contractors . Preparation and newspaper announcement fees will be paid by the quotation win ner . The prices excluding VAT and the contractor should issue Zero VAT invoice .
