Country : Palestine / WB Name of Project : Municipal Development Program - MDPIII - CII Contract Title : Rehabilitation of Beit Awwa Entrances - Phase II Loan No./Credit No./ Grant No .: 2017.6737.5 RFB Reference No .: MDPIII - CIT - 1124107-01 1. The Palestine Liberation Organization , for the benefit of the Palestinian National Authority ( PNA ) , has received an initial financing of 130 Million Euros from the World Bank International Development Association ( IDA ) , Central Govemment , KFW , Denmark , SDC , VNG , GIZ and AFD towards the cost of the 3rd phase of the Municipal Development Program ( MDPIII ) . The Municipal Development and Lending Fund ( MDLF ) is entrusted in the execution and supervision of the implementation of the Project and intends to apply part of the proceedings of ( KFW ) grant to eligible payments under the contract for : Rehabilitation of Beit Awwa Entrances - Phase Il for Beit Awwa Municipality . Contract No MDPIII - CII - 1124107-01 for the benefit of Beit Awwa Municipality 2. As Beit Awwa Municipality has received financing from ( KFW ) toward the cost of the Rehabilitation of Internal Roads and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the benefit of Beit Awwa Municipality 3. Beit Awwa Municipality now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for carrying out Rehabilitation of Intemal Roads . Construction period : 150 days . 4. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids ( RFB ) as specified in the World Bank's " Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers " January 2017 ( " Procurement Regulations " ) , and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations . 5. Qualifications requirements are presented in the Biding Documents . 6. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from ( Beit Awwa Municipality ) , and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below at 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM from 3/11/2020 to 2/12/2020 7. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non - refundable fee 150 Euro . The method of payment will be in a Cashier's Check or Direct deposit to Municipality account number ( 630222 ) in Palestine Bank Dura Branch . A site Visit and Pre - Bid Meeting : Contractors are invited to attend the site visit which will be held on Tuesday , 17 / 11 / 2020 at 10:00 AM , the pre - bid meeting shall be held at Beit Awwa Municipality , Manager of Engineering and Projects Department / after finishing site visit . 10. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 after Bid closing and must be accompanied by a bid security of 5,000 Euro and shall be valid for 118 days after bid closing date . 11. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 12:00 noon on 3/12/2020 . Electronic bidding shall not be permitted . Late bids will be rejected . Bids will be opened physically in the presence of the bidders ' representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at 12:00 noon on 3/12/2020 . 12.
