Contract title : MEDISS Pilot in Jordan Valley -Palestine
Publication reference : 2/2020 Request for Tender The Jericho Governorate ( JG ) intends to award a work contract for a pilot action under the project Mediterranean Integrated System for Water Supply ( MEDISS ) . This project is co - financed by the European Union under the ENI CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme . The tender dossier is available to pick up at the Jericho Governorate office in Jericho starting Monday November 16 through Monday November 22 , 2020 . The aim of the project is to establish a water blending system , where the Wadi Quilt water will be blended with the treated waste water from Jericho treatment plant and the saline water from the water wells . The project includes Construction of Agricultural Earth Water Collection Pond , Construction of Water Trunk Lines and Water Pumping Systems .
Eligible Contractors : This invitation for tenders is open to all qualified contractors who : 1 . Are registered with Palestinian Contractors Union and classified
by National Classification Committee ( grade 3 water and sewer ) ; 2 . Are able to issue a Zero VAT invoice ; 3 . Are able to provide a valid income tax deductible at source cer
tificate ; 4 . Are able to provide a Bid Security in the value of 7,000 Euro valid
for 120 days after the bid submission deadline ; 5 . Must performed completely at least 3 similar projects in the last
five years . The following additional conditions apply : 1 . JG invites prospective Bidders to attend a Pre - Bid Meeting and
site visit which will be held on November 23 , 2020 , at 10:00 am at Jericho Governorate office ( JG ) in Jericho . Bidders are encour
aged to attend the meeting . 2 . Sealed Tenders must be delivered by hand to Jericho Governorate
office located in Jericho at or before December 10 , 2020 11:00 am . Late tenders will be rejected . Tenders will be opened in the presa
ence of the bidders ' representatives who choose to attend . 3 . All Prices must exclude VAT , and must be submitted in Euro . 4 . The tenderer shall bear all costs associated with the preparation
and submission of the tender . Without limitation , JG is not respon
sible or reliable , in any case for these costs . 5 . JG has the right to cancel the request for tender without any obli
gation toward the tenderers . 6 . JG does not bind itself to award the lowest bid and reserves the
right to accept the whole or part of the bid . 7 . Tender announcement fees are to be paid by the winning tenderer .
