Assignment Title : Financial Management Specialist Reference No .: GZ - PLA - 199149 - CS - INDV

The World Bank ( WB ) is working together with the Palestinian Authority ( PA ) to finalize the prepara tion of a Real Estate Registration Project whose objective is to enhance tenure security and improve real estate registration services . These objectives will be achieved through advancing the systematic registration of properties in Areas A and B of the West Bank , which is currently being undertaken by the Land and Water Settlement Commission ( LWSC ) , in collaboration with Local Government Units . The project will support ongoing systematic approach comprehensively benefits citizens , businesses including small and medium enterprises ( SMEs ) , and public entities through real estate registration and improvement of real estate services . PLA and LWSC are the implementing agencies for this Project . PLA and LWSC intend to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to payments under the contract for “ Financial Management Specialist ” . The selected Financial Management Specialist will be required to familiarize him / herself with all aspects of the execution of the project , and will be responsible for processing all aspects of project financial management for RERP . This will include the provision of the day - to - day financial applica tions within the PMT , in accordance with the World Bank Financial Management , Disbursement Guidelines , and Results - Based payments , and the procedures set out in the Project Financial Manage ment Manual , PA Grant Agreement , and in line with the PA's financial system . Consultant will be selected in accordance with the World Bank's Guidelines based on Individual Consultant Selection ( IC ) set out in the Procurement Regulations . The duration of the assignment is one year on a full - time basis , extendable for additional years based on performance for the duration of the project .
