Call for Proposals : Developing and Implementing a Job Coaching Instrument for the Labour Market
Integration of Unemployed Young People PALM was launched in April 2019 and was designed to correspond to the Palestinian - German priority area of Sustainable Economic Development . It aims to improve the employment situation through comprehensive measures of active labour market policy . PALM supports the new designed Internship Program in the Westbank , Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem , implemented by the Palestinian Fund for Employ ment and Social Protection ( PFESP ) and the accompanying Job Coaching Pro gramme for 400 unemployed young graduates ( age group from 18 to 35 ) of TVET and Higher Education Institutions . The main objective of this Internship Program is to support their labour market integration through 5 - months intern ships in private sector companies in combination with training measures and the accompanying job coaching . Assignment : 1. Provide , develop , and implement a comprehensive curriculum and capac
ity development program for job coaches in Westbank , Gaza and East Jerusalem including training sessions , individual mentoring , and profes
sional reflection . 2. Train and mentor the job coaches based on the developed capacity build
ing and training program . 3. Develop an e - learning platform where learning , innovation and coaching
will take place and where a Community of Practice in the field of Job Coaching will be created including all the relevant factors such as Job Coaches , Interns , Private Sector Companies and the Palestinian Fund for
Employment and Social Protection . 4. Provide and develop a labour market related Job - Coaching - instrument
which can be used in in Westbank , Gaza and East - Jerusalem in the future . 5. Provide an evaluation and lessons learnt at the end of the program . Within this context , PALM seeks qualified locally registered service providers / NGOs to submit their bids to carry out the assignment .
