Local Governance Reform Program ( LGRP ) Call for proposals : Development of a governance framework and metadata standards of geographic information for the
Palestinian Spatial Data Infrastructure ( SDI )

The Local Governance Reform Program ( LGRP ) , implemented by the German Corporation for International Cooperation ( GIZ ) and funded by the German Ministry of International Cooperation and Development ( BMZ ) , aims to enhance the performance of the local government units ( LGUs ) and their services to citizens . GIZ has been commissioned by the BMZ and co - financed by the Swiss Development Cooperation ( SDC ) to support reform of local governance through capacity development and introduction of new tools , solutions , and methodologies . A key element to enhancing planning processes and related services at the national and local levels is the availability of quality information , es pecially information of geographic aspect . To facilitate management and exchange of geographic information among Palestinian institutions , the LGRP is supporting the Ministry of Local Government ( MoLG ) in the establishment of a national Spatial Data Infrastructure ( SDI ) . Within this context , the LGRP seeks qualified locally registered service providers to carry out this assignment , and hereby invites qualified bid ders to submit proposals for providing needed services .
