Invitation for Bids ( IFB ) Bid Name : Construction of Solar Energy System for Khan Younis Waste Water Treatment Plant
( KY WWTP ) - PACKAGE TWO 3.7 MWP .
Bid No .: CMWU / KDF.IDB / NCB W 002/2022 The Coastal Municipalities Water Utility ( CMWU ) has received a grant from the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development in cooperation with Islamic Development Bank ( ISDB ) toward the cost of Construction of Solar Energy System for Khan Younis Waste Water Treatment Plant ( KY WWTP ) - PACKAGE TWO 3.7 MWP , The CMWU is inter ested in execution and supervision of the implementation of the Project . 1. The Coastal Municipalities Water Utility invites qualified local contractors through joint venture with international
contractors , moreover the local classified contractors ( Classified by the National Classification Committee in the field of electricity or electromechanical ( first class ) and Buildings construction ( Second class ) , and those who have a valid classification certificate issued by the National Classification Committee of Contractors ) to receive sealed bids for National Competitive Bidding “ Single - Stage ” . In case of JV between more than one local contractors , a
first - degree classification certificate will be required for each partner separately . 2. Specialized Companies in the field of solar energy that have experience and officially registered in Ministry of
National Economy can participate in the tender through JV with a local contractor ( as per the above classification
requirement ) , the leader of the JV should be local contractor . 3. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders from 08:30 AM to 3:00
PM from 04th April 2022 upon payment of a non - refundable fee of Four Hundred US $ ( $ 400 ) . The method of pay ment will be Bank Deposit to the CMWU Account No. 30/3001/001/0223900/0458 , Coastal Municipalities Water
Utility , Bank of Palestine , Ramallah Branch . 4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the CMWU Gaza , E - mail : cmwu@cmwu.ps , and in
spect the Bidding Documents at the address given below , from 08:00 AM to 03:00 PM from Sunday to Thursday . 5. Pre - bid meeting followed by site visit will be held on Monday , 13 April 2022 at 10:00 AM CMWU Headquarter . 6. Bids shall be valid for period of 180 days , starting from the date of tender opening and must be accompanied by Bid
Security with an amount of 200,000 USD and shall be valid for a period 210 days after the bid validity period . 7. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 13:00 local time , 15 May 2022 Electronic bidding will
not be permitted . 8. All prices should be in American Dollars ( US $ ) . 9. The contractor should provide a stamped ( VAT Exemption ) invoice . 10. The CMWU is not committed to the lowest bid price . 11. The cost of announcement will be paid by the successful bidder .
