Invitation to Bid for the Second time ( REINVENTING
PUBLIC SPACE IN BETHLEHEM / REHABILITATION
OF MANGER SQUARE ) - Tender No. 16/2022
Bethlehem Municipality ( BM ) has received a Grant from the French Agency for Development , through Paris Municipality , for the implementation of the project REINVENTING PUBLIC SPACE IN BETHLEHEM / REHABILITATION OF MANGER SQUARE , Tender No. 16/2022 , supervision by Bethlehem Municipal ity . In accordance to drawings , specifications , bill of quantities and Conditions of Contract related to the project , all interested bidders should pursue the following bidding Conditions :
1. Eligible contractors should be registered at the VAT and Customs department and should provide Bethlehem Municipality with their VAT registration number and financial clearance certificate and valid company registration and classification documents in Palestinian Contractors Union . The bidders should emphasize on previous experience concerning familiar fields of such projects .
2. The bidders should emphasize on previous experience concerning familiar fields of such projects in addition to be registered with the Palestinian union of contractors / second grade building / roads / electro - mechanical company is needed . 3. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after Bid closing and must be accom panied by a bid security of 7,500 Euro and shall be valid for 118 days after bid closing date . Personal checks and or cash payments will not be accepted . 4. Provided Prices should be VAT included .
5. Bethlehem Municipality is not obliged to accept the lowest price .
6. Bidders interested in purchasing bid documents from Bethlehem Mu nicipality , starting from Tuesday 21/06/2022 in order to obtain required documents for an amount of 100 Euro non - refundable .
7. The pre - bid meeting shall be held at Bethlehem Municipality , on Tuesday 28/06/2022 at 10:00 a.m.
8. Eligible Bidders should submit their offers in a sealed envelope enclosed no later than Thursday , 21/07/2022 before 12:00 p.m .
9. Bids opening session will be held on Thursday , 21/07/2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Municipality .
10. All expenses related to advertisement shall be paid by the successful bidder .
11.The work phase of this project starts with a written order from Bethlehem Municipality .
