Request for Proposals ( RFP )
Developing an Electronic Portal for the Union of Stone and Marble Trader Facilitation and Customs Support Programme ( Tasdeer ) Tasdeer , an FCDO - funded trade facilitation programme in the Occupied Palestinian Territories is soliciting proposals from eligible and responsible IT firms to develop a web portal for the Union of Stone and Marble .
This portal is expected to achieve the following objectives :
• To establish a global inclusive platform to properly promote the sector's product and connect stone and marble companies to potential customers .

• To improve the communication between the Union and its mem bers and facilitate the exchange of information
• Enhance the presentation of the businesses in the sector over the internet and facilitate communication between the companies and existing and new customers .
Increases in exposure and connectivity are expected to lead to an increase in sales , driving improvements in sector production capacity and quality .
The service provider is expected to use a participatory approach in the process . Critical reflection by USM members is an integral part of designing , developing , and promoting the electronic portal .
