Climate Change Adaptation
The Local Governance Reform Program ( LGRP ) , implemented by the German Corporation for International Cooperation ( GIZ ) and funded by the German Ministry of International Cooperation and Development ( BMZ ) , aims to enhance the performance of the local government units ( LGUS ) and their services to citizens . GIZ has been commissioned by the BMZ to support reform of local governance through capacity development and introduction of new tools , solutions , and methodologies .
A key element to enhancing urban planning processes and related services at the national and local levels is the raising capacities of the ministerial & municipal staff involved in the urban plan ning process , one of the new topics is climate change adaptation & climate resilient .

Within this context , the LGRP seeks qualified service providers ( consulting firms / companies ) to carry out this assignment , and hereby invites qualified bidders to submit proposals for providing needed services .
