Contract Title : Construction works of the seafront green public space in Gaza municipality . RFB Reference No .: GSF- 6.1

1. The MDLF has received an initial financing of 390,000 euros from the German government through the German Corporation for International Cooperation ( GIZ ) toward Recreational Public Space for Gaza City Seafront . The Gaza Municipality has obtained a sub - grant from the MDLF ( the recipient of the grant ) to implement the Construction works of the seafront green public space in Gaza municipality , and it intends to use part of the money from this sub grant to make payments under Contract No. ( GSF - 6.1 ) for which this invitation is issued .
2. The Municipality of Gaza now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Construction works of the seafront green public space in Gaza municipality .
3. The period for executing the works is 150 days .
4. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids ( RFB ) as specified in the World Bank's " Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers " July 2016 ( " Procurement Regulations " ) , and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations .
5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Municipality of Gaza , Tenders and Procurements Unit , Eng . Rami Abu El - Komboz , Fax : ( 08-2824400 ) , Tel : ( 08-2832200 ) , and inspect the bidding document during office hours 8:00 A.M. to 02:00 P.M. from May 02 , 2023 to May 31 , 2023 at the address given below .
6. The submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 100 Euro ( € ) . The method of payment will be in a Cashier's Check or Direct deposit to Municipality of Gaza , account number ( 0506300 ) in Bank of Palestine , Main Branch .

7. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before May 31 , 2023 - 12:00 noon . Electronic Bidding will not be permitted . Late Bids will be rejected . Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders ' designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on May 31 , 2023 -12 : 00 noon .

8. Grant is VAT excluded , bidders to price without VAT .
9. A Site Visit and Pre - Bid Meeting : Contractors are invited to attend the site visit which will be held on Thursday ; May 18 , 2023 at 10:00 A.M. , the pre - bid meeting shall be held at Municipality of Gaza , at Maintenance and services Administration Building .

10. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 6,000 Euro ( € ) and shall be valid for 120 days after bid closing date 11. The address referred to above is : Municipality of Gaza , Eng .
