Contract Title : Water Banking and adaptation of Agriculture to Climate change in Gaza . IFB Nº : NCB / SW / WBP / AFD / 1 / 2023

Palestinian Water Authority

The Palestinian Water Authority ( PWA ) has received funds from the Agence Française de Développement ( the French Development Agency ) , Green Climate Fund towards the cost of Water Banking and adaptation of Agriculture to Climate change in Gaza . It is intended that part of the proceeds of these funds will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the of on - farm water - saving equipment .

1. The Palestinian Water Authority ( PWA ) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply and installation of on - farm water - saving equipment ( " the Works " ) . The on - farm equipment will be fully supplied and installed for 569 Parcels ( 908 donum ) and partial on - farm equipment " Control unit and re lated fittings " for other 149 Parcels . The Contractor shall dismantle the existing irrigation system parcel by parcel and hand it over to the farm owner . The location will be at Zone A1 in the north - east of Jabalia . 2. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the AFD's Guidelines : Procurement of Goods , Works and Non - Consulting Services under Grants by AFD Borrowers October 2019 ( " Procurement Guidelines " ) , and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines . In addition , please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the AFD's policy on conflict of interest .

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the office of PWA as mentioned below during office hours . 09:00 to 15:00 hours at the address given below . 4. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the above and upon payment of a non - refundable fee 50 USD or any equivalent amount in any convertible currency . The method of payment will be direct bank transfer to PWA Project account in the Bank of Palestine IBAN No. PS65PALS045802190000013001094 . The documents may be collected from the address mentioned below or will be sent by mail or courier at the recipient's expense ( pre - payment to the address listed on the written application mentioned above ) .

5. A site visit will take place on 18th of May 2023 immediately after a pre - bid meeting , which will take place at the office Palestinian Water Authority , Projects Management Directorate ( as per down mentioned Address ) . Bidders are encouraged to attend and participate in both .
6. Bids must be delivered to the down mentioned Address on or before 12:00 noon on 04th June 2023 and must be accompanied by a bid security of 15,000 Euro .
7. Late bids will be rejected ; bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders ' representatives who choose to attend at 12:00 noon on 04th June 2023 immediately after the deadline for the submission of bids at the same place of submission .
