Invitation to Bid Bethlehem Municipality

Bethlehem Municipality ( BM ) has received a grant from Agence Française de Développement ( AFD ) through the Municipality of Grenoble in France , for the project " Grenoble and Bethlehem : two cities of living together , heritage at the service of social co hesion " , in this project a participatory budget was allocated for the selection of a project directly by the citizens . The outcome of the voting favored the project aimed at improving safety and security measures in Bethlehem Old City , specifically involving upgrading the lighting network in Bethlehem Old City » . Technical supervision will be conducted by planning and development department at Beth lehem Municipality in accordance to drawings , specifications , bill of quantities and Conditions of Contract related to the project . All interested bidders should pursue the following bidding Conditions : 1. Eligible Suppliers should be registered at the VAT and Customs department and should provide Bethlehem Municipality with their VAT registration number and financial clearance certificate .

2. The tender documents are to be given for a non - refundable amount of ( 50 Euro ) , and this tender is opened for suppliers that are related to the field of the tender and have performed similar projects in the last 3 years . 3. Bid securities of 1300 Euro should be submitted as bank guarantee valid for a period of 128 days starting from submitting day . Personal checks and or cash payments will not be accepted .
4. Provided prices should be VAT included , and bidders must submit VAT invoice , and should have a valid crafts license fees for the year 2023 . 5. Bethlehem Municipality is not obliged to accept the lowest price . 6. Bidders interested in purchasing bid documents can get them from Bethlehem Municipality , starting on Thursday , 9th of November 2023 . 7. The pre - bid meeting shall be held at Bethlehem Municipality , on Monday , November 20th , 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
8. Eligible Suppliers should submit their offers in a sealed envelope enclosed to the financial department in Bethlehem Municipality build ing no later than Monday , December 11st . 2023 before 12.00 noon . 9. Bids opening session will be held on Monday , December 11st , 2023 at 12.00 noon .

10. All expenses related to advertisement shall be paid by the suc cessful bidder .
