Invitation to Bid Procurement of Solid Waste Collection Vehicles ( Small Waste Truck and Hook lift Truck ) -Via the project of Bethlehem Green City : Towards A Virtuous Model of Environmental Sustainability ) Project No. AID 012314/01/4 ) Bethlehem Municipality Tender No. 25/2024
Bethlehem Municipality ( BM ) has received a Grant from the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation ( AICS ) for the project Bethlehem Green City : Towards a Virtuous Model of Environmental Sustainability in the District of Bethlehem , Bethlehem Palestine , and technical supervision will be conducted by Bethlehem Municipality . In accordance to the specifications , and Conditions of Contract related to the project , all interested bidders should pursue the following : bidding Conditions
1. Eligible Bidders should be registered at the VAT and Customs department and should provide Bethlehem Municipality with their VAT registration number and financial clearance certificate .
2. The bidders should emphasize on previous experience concerning familiar fields of such projects .
3. Bethlehem Municipality invites eligible bidders to submit sealed tenders for the execution of the " Procurement of Solid Waste Collection Vehicles ( Small Waste Truck and Hooklift Truck ) and the tender includes the following lots : 1 ) Procurement of Small Waste Collection Truck 5m3
2 ) Procurement of Hooklift Truck with a garbage container and bidders are entitled to bid for one or more of these lots .
4. The tender must be accompanied by a bid security valid for 128 days after the bid validity period in the amount of : Lot 1 : Purchase of Small Waste Truck 5m3 - a bid security in the amount of [ 1800 Euros ] , and Lot 2 : Purchase of Hooklift Truck - a bid security in the amount of [ 3500 Euros ] . Personal checks and or cash payments will not be accepted .
5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Bethlehem
Municipality , Arch . Ziad Alsayeh , during office hours ( 08:00 am to 1:00 pm ) . 6. Provided Prices should be VAT excluded , and bidders must submit zero VAT invoice .
7. Interested bidders can get bid documents from the Planning and Projects Department at Bethlehem Municipality , starting from Wednesday July 10 , 2024. The required documents can be obtained for a non - refundable fee of ( 100 Euros ) from the Financial Department at Bethlehem Municipality . The method of payment will be cash .
8. Eligible contractors should submit their offers in a sealed envelope enclosed no later than Thursday July 25 , 2024 at the Procurement and Bidding Department at Bethlehem Municipality at 11:00 a.m.
9. Bids opening session will be held on than Thursday July 25 , 2024 at Bethlehem Municipality- Vienna Hall- Second floor at 11:00 a.m. 10. The Bidder must provide performances in English and accompanied by a technical document as well as catalogs and printed materials that contain information about the items . And this includes names and addresses of companies that will supply service facilities in the ( Palestinian National Authority areas ) . 11.
