Program name and description
For several years the Middle East Investment Initiative ( MEII ) has been managing Tamweeli matchmaking platform in Palestine . Tamweeli Platform is an innovative , digital matchmaking platform that allows entrepreneurs to present their financing requests to multiple financial institutions ( " FI " s ) including banks , leasing companies , and microfinance institutions . The Platform streamlines the financing process for both FIs & MSMEs by digitally connecting businesses with potential funders . More information about Tamweeli can be found under www.Tamweeli.ps

Overall objectives
MEII is seeking EOIs from qualified vendors to develop the next generation of MEII's Tamweeli offer :
1. Upgrade of existing Tamweeli Platform web - based solution
2. Tamweeli Platform mobile app to be developed ( does not exist today )
3. Tamweeli Bookkeeping mobile app for a cash - based , single - entry bookkeeping designed for home - based businesses and micro - enterprises ( does not exist today ) .
4. Tamweeli Academy mobile app ( app exists today and the design will be adapted ) to unify the design with the two new apps Tamweeli Platform and Tamweeli Bookkeeping mobile apps ) .
The objective is a unified design for the Tamweeli Platform , Tamweeli Platform mobile app , Tamweeli Bookkeeping mobile app , Tamweeli Academy App , and to incorporate all into a new , integrated
" Tamweeli Workspace " . The project is divided into two scopes : UI / UX Design and Development . Vendors may express interest to either scope independently or jointly covering both scopes .

Eligibility
We invite local / international companies with expertise in UI / UX design , software development , and digital transformation to apply for the restructuring / upgrading of Tamweeli . Interested vendors must include their company profile , proving how they meet the following requirements by Dec 16 , 2024 :
• Proven experience working with matchmaking platforms or similar , involving multiple parties as end users ( e.g. , Tamweeli platform has businesses seeking finance as users on one side and bank / MFI / leasing companies , etc. as financers on the other ) .
• Demonstrated familiarity with financial sector / fintech projects
• Proven track record of at least 3 years experience for Scope 1 : UX design
• Proven track record of at least 10 years experience for Scope 2 : Development • Proven experience developing at least three mobile applications
On the basis of the received EOI , eligible candidates will be invited to a pre - bid conference where MEII will provide more details on the project before releasing the Request for Proposal ( RFP ) . The pre - bid conference is tentatively scheduled to occur between December 17-19 , 2024 .
