The Treatment and Rehabilitation Center for Victims of Torture ( TRC ) was established in 1997 and registered in 2001 with the Palestinian Ministry of Interior . TRC provides mental health and psychosocial support services ( MHPSS ) to primary and secondary victims of torture across the West Bank , including East Jerusalem , and the Gaza Strip . With a team of specialized clinical psychologists , social workers , and psychiatrists , TRC conducts 90 % of its outreach in the field through home - based consultations , psychological first aid ( PFA ) , and crisis intervention to prevent chronic symptoms . Over the years , TRC has gained the trust of beneficiaries , aided by efforts to reduce stigma around mental health and promote understanding and support for victims . TRC collaborates with community leaders and organizations , focusing on the rights to remedy , reintegration , and protection from torture's effects . By addressing urgent community needs , TRC ensures its interventions are rapid and responsive , with ongoing efforts to improve its internal referral system .
The Treatment and Rehabilitation Center for Victims of Torture ( TRC ) is inviting qualified contractors to submit price quotations for the re - design of the TRC office in Ramallah to include a space for the Data Unit and a safe space for the employees , as detailed in the bid documents .
